What is the PSTAP Email Discussion List?
The PSTAP Email Discussion list is where members are given the opportunity to ask questions or share information. Once you join the Discussion List, you may send an email to the List’s specified address and your message will automatically be forwarded to other PSTAP members who have joined the Discussion List. The members of the Email Discussion List can then respond to just the sender, the entire list or choose not to respond at all. It is a great way to get advice from several people at one time or to share information with a large group that could benefit from the information.
Why Should I Subscribe to the PSTAP Email Discussion List?
The purpose of our Discussion List is to share information or get advice on issues you face in your practice. Maybe you are looking to change your software and would like some feedback from other users. You can send an email out to the List to ask if anyone has experience with a particular brand of software. There may be breaking accounting or tax news you would like to share with your fellow members. Maybe you would like to discuss a recent notice one of your clients received from the PA Department of Revenue. This is a great opportunity to collaborate with your peers instantly. How Do I Post a Question to the PSTAP Email Discussion List?
Once you join the Email Discussion List, simply send an email to email@example.com and your message will automatically be forwarded to everyone who has joined the List. If you need help or are having trouble posting a message, please contact the Executive Office at 1-800-270-3352.
Customizable Features of the PSTAP Email Discussion List – YOU Choose How to Receive the Information
The PSTAP Email Discussion List offers two options for receiving email messages: individual or daily digest. The individual setting allows members to receive email messages as they are sent. The daily digest setting allows members to receive one email message that contains all of the messages that were sent to the list that day. Once you are a member of the List, you can click the link at the bottom of any email from the list to switch between individual and digest settings, or put yourself on temporary vacation hold. All messages sent to the Discussion List will also be archived. You can view the messages by date or by subject on the archive. You will receive information on the archive when you become a member of the List.
