Professional Bio
Hi. Iām David Markle. I started my career working in the accounting department of a small telephone company in 1992 and then moved to an accounting position with a construction contractor after a year. At this stage of my life my sole focus was on becoming a CPA, which I accomplished in 1998.
I left private accounting for a position in a Philadelphia CPA firm and quickly determined I preferred being a tax accountant. I left the Philadelphia firm in 1997 for the tax department of a public accounting firm where I remained until 2005.
Although I like tax work, I also became very interested in financial planning. I enjoy helping people solve their financial issues in addition to their tax problems.
In 2005, I went to work for a Registered Investment Advisor that managed over a billion dollars in client assets, in addition to continuing to service my existing accounting customers. I learned all aspects of financial planning and it prepared me to open my own firm, which I did in 2014 (Markle Wealth Management).
