We're Here for You
Leveraging the Power of Small Firms Since 1946
The Pennsylvania Society of Tax & Accounting Professionals (PSTAP) is a member‑driven organization dedicated to strengthening and unifying small‑firm tax and accounting professionals across the Commonwealth. We empower our members to thrive by supporting their professional growth, advocating on their behalf before lawmakers, regulatory bodies, and government agencies, and fostering meaningful connection and knowledge‑sharing among practitioners.
Founded in 1946 as the Pennsylvania Society of Public Accountants (PSPA), our organization has evolved alongside the profession. In 2015, we became PSTAP to better reflect the breadth and expertise of our membership, which includes certified public accountants (CPAs), public accountants (PAs), enrolled agents (EAs), and a wide range of skilled tax and accounting professionals.
Today, PSTAP remains committed to elevating the work of small firms and independent practitioners—championing their interests, amplifying their voices, and ensuring they have the resources and community they need to succeed
