PSTAP is Here for You
Leveraging the Power of Sole Practitioners & Smaller Firms Since 1946
The Pennsylvania Society of Tax & Accounting Professionals (PSTAP) is a member‑driven organization dedicated to strengthening and unifying small‑firm tax and accounting professionals across the Commonwealth.
We help our members thrive by supporting professional growth, advocating before lawmakers and regulatory bodies, and fostering meaningful connection and knowledge‑sharing across the profession.
Founded in 1946 as the Pennsylvania Society of Public Accountants (PSPA), we evolved with the profession and rebranded as PSTAP in 2015 to reflect our diverse membership—CPAs, PAs, EAs, and other skilled tax and accounting practitioners.
Today, PSTAP remains committed to elevating small firms and independent practitioners, championing their interests, amplifying their voices, and ensuring they have the resources and community needed to succeed.
