Participants will discuss and share strategies and best practices for hiring and managing staff in and out of tax season. Topics will include onboarding strategies, company culture fits, identifying candidate strengths/weaknesses, compensation, time commitments, managing expectations, and based on the evolving discussion, other topics will be considered. Participants will review part time, seasonal, & full time employee planning strategies. Attendees will explore how best to deploy experienced per diem tax preparers, and whether this model may be a practical avenue to pursue for semi-retired and retired tax professionals.
