During this webinar we will cover advanced knowledge of investment income commonly associated with employment. Attendees will leave the program with an understanding of the different types of stock options and how the tax code treats each. It will also address when and why some stock options are treated as wages and others as investment income.

  • Understand the different types of stock options, how they are reported to the taxpayer, and where they are reported on a tax return.
  • Understand when stock options are subject to ordinary tax rates versus capital gains rates.
