WEBINAR: Live Full Credit Replay: Business Privilege and Mercantile Taxes
1 Hour Tax (State & Local)
This is a live replay of a previously aired webinar. The speaker will join us live at the end of the recording to address any questions.
Though prohibited from expanding to other local taxing jurisdiction (via a moratorium), there are still nearly 280 taxing jurisdiction applying all or parts of the allowed “gross income) taxation methodologies of business privilege taxes, mercantile taxes, or a combination of the two. It is still a bit of the “wild, wild west” in application of non-uniform ordinances and regulations, with varying styles of aggressiveness in oversight by the designated collectors. Further, understand the applicable low, low threshold to nexus applicability that could blow up enormously on an unaware and unprepared small business. Participants will learn awareness and insights about these gross receipts taxes so as to better advise and assist clients in tax compliance of the potential landmine tax!
If you have any questions or issues that you would like to have discussed during the webinar, please submit them to cathy@pstap.org
