Computer fraud happens because of assumptions in communication - not from a failure to purchase the right software. An attacker will often try to convince you they are an authority, someone you know, or someone that you can trust enough to ignore best security practices with. This can come in many forms. Some attackers will use text messages or email to convince you to operate outside your best interests. Others will use pressure, FOMO, and try to rush you to get you to act insecurely. What they all have in common is that they can be prevented by setting a written security plan for yourself and your team, by acting with vigilance, and by taking additional minutes out of your schedule for thorough communication.
