David A. Braden, CPA, Retired PA Department of Revenue, Assistant to the Director, Bureau of Individual Taxes

David Braden retired with over 31 years of service to the commonwealth. He began his career in state government in 1990 at the Pennsylvania Treasury Department Office of Fiscal Review. In April of 1996, he became an Audit Manager and was responsible for the review of personal income tax refunds and Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program claims. In June 2004, Braden joined the Department of Revenue as the Assistant to the Director for the Bureau of Individual Taxes. In this position, he specialized in personal income tax issues and played a leading role in assisting taxpayers and tax professionals with PIT questions. Braden also served as an integral part of the department’s education and outreach efforts as a recurring speaker at the department’s Fall Tax seminars. 

Penny Ann Erbe, EA, P.A. Erbe & Associates, Inc.

Penny is an accomplished tax professional with a Master's in Taxation and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Robert Morrris University (RMU), where she was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa. She founded her own tax business in 1974 and established

P.A. Erbe & Associates, Inc. in 1989, specializing in tax and bookkeeping services. That same year, she earned her Enrolled Agent status. A past President of the Pennsylvania Society of Tax and Accounting Professionals (PSTAP), she has also served on various professional boards. Her professional philosophy centers on truth, a deep understanding of the tax code, and maintaining ethical standards while ensuring full compliance with the law.
