The tax code incentivizes generosity, offering valuable deductions for charitable contributions made by individuals and businesses.  However, recent legislative changes have introduced new opportunities and modifications to existing tax benefits.  This course provides a comprehensive overview of the rules governing charitable deductions, covering everything from eligible charities to substantiation requirements, adjusted gross income (AGI) limitations, and enhanced deductions for corporate donations.  Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of specialized topics, including donor-advised funds, intellectual property contributions, conservation easements, and qualified charitable distributions – ensuring they can maximize tax benefits while maintaining compliance.
